Join me for 5-days of intensive Rocket training, as we dive deep into the Rocket sequences, while enjoying the endless summer sunshine, sunset strolls, Lisbon’s cute cobblestone streets, local tascas, shared meals with the community, and lots of sweating, laughing and learning!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The training: Intensive 50hrs Rocket® YTTC Program - Level 1
Dates: 14th to 18th of August 2025 (Thursday to Monday).
Location: ABHYASA YOGA STUDIO, LISBON, PORTUGAL
Language: The teacher training will be held in English.
Certification: Certified by PAYS Progressive Ashtanga Yoga School & Yoga Alliance as part of RYT300 & 500hrs program.

WHAT IS ROCKET® YOGA?
The Rocket® Vinyasa Yoga , is also known as Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, specializes in the sequences created by Larry Schultz (a long-time student of the founder of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, K. Pattabhi Jois) with the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system as a base. These systems have deep similarities but obvious differences, and the combination of both will allow students to have a real opportunity to go further and deepen their practices, demystifying the boundaries created by some progression limits of the traditional Ashtanga practice.
I haven't met Larry Schultz (the Rocket® Yoga creator) in person, but I feel I have known him all my life now, thanks to all the insights and inspiring stories shared by David Kyle, my teacher, who was a close student and practiced with Larry extensively.
WHAT ARE THE ROCKET® SEQUENCES?
We will cover the sequences of Rocket I, Rocket II, and Rocket III. These series were developed by combining key postures of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. The vast majority of this training is focused on increasing the student's ability to progress into the postures of the series through the valuable strengthening techniques and drills offered by Larry Schultz and David Kyle’s teachings. As well as the philosophical approach to the practice as a lifestyle.
CERTIFICATION
As part of this 50-hour Rocket® Yoga Teacher Training program, you will get a 50-hour Yoga Alliance certification that can be used towards the Yoga Alliance 500 hours of the "Progressive Ashtanga Yoga Professional Development Program”.
In collaboration with the Progressive Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga School, we will bring the Rocket® spirit to Portugal!

50h Rocket® Yoga Teacher Training Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions agreement governs your participation in the 50h Rocket® Yoga Teacher Training Course program offered by Lita Sattva Yoga. By enrolling in the Program, you agree to comply with the following terms:
Registration and Payment:
a. To enroll in the Program, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate and complete information.
b. Payment for the Program must be made in full by the 14th of August 2025 unless otherwise specified by the Provider. To benefit from the discounted Super early bird price, payment has to be done in total by the 14th of Feb 2025, and the early bird price, payment has to be done in total by the 14th of May 2025.
c. The deposit of 300€ secures your place at the training. This is non-refundable but could be used within 2 years in another Rocket®YTT with Lita Sattva. Only diagnosed medical conditions that do not resolve themselves within two years are available for a full refund. Otherwise, you will be given two years to transfer to a new date and/or location.
Eligibility:
a. The Program is open to all individuals who practice or have an interest in knowing more about Rocket®.
b. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and mentally fit to engage in this yoga training. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, you should consult a healthcare professional before participating.
Program Schedule and Attendance:
a. The provider will provide you with the schedule of the Program, including the dates, times, and location of the training sessions.
b. You are responsible for attending all the training sessions. If you are unable to attend a session, you must notify the Provider in advance.
c. The Provider reserves the right to modify or cancel any training session or change the Program schedule. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to notify you in advance.
Code of Conduct:
a. You are expected to conduct yourself in a respectful and professional manner throughout the Program.
b. Respect the rights and privacy of other participants and instructors. Avoid disruptive behavior and any form of harassment or discrimination.
c. Follow all instructions given by the instructors and adhere to the safety guidelines provided.
d. Any violation of the code of conduct may result in your dismissal from the Program without a refund.
Liability and Waiver:
a. Participation in the Program is at your own risk. The Provider, its instructors, and staff shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the training sessions.
b. You acknowledge that yoga involves physical activity and potential physical exertion. It is your responsibility to exercise caution and listen to your body's limits.
c. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold the Provider harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation in the Program.
Intellectual Property:
a. All training materials, manuals, and resources provided to you during the Program are the intellectual property of the Provider and are protected by copyright laws.
b. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of the materials for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the Provider.
Flight Cancellations & Missed Flights:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can lead to flight cancellations or missed flights. However, please note that no refunds will be provided in such cases. We strongly recommend securing travel insurance to cover any unexpected travel disruptions.
Tuition Transfer & Accommodation Fees:
a. While no refunds will be issued for missed training due to flight issues, the tuition amount paid can be transferred to another yoga training program with Lita Sattva within two years of the originally scheduled training. This transfer is only applicable to the tuition fee and is subject to availability in the chosen future training program.
b. Unfortunately, the accommodation fee is non-refundable. As the training is close to its start date, the accommodation cost cannot be recovered or transferred.
Responsibility for Events Outside the Training Dates:
Lita Sattva Yoga is not responsible for any events, activities, or issues occurring outside the official training dates. Participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for any additional travel or activities.
